We do not have a riding ring. However, our boarders have found the upper field adjacent to the house or other flat area of the pasture as very adequate places to ride. If you need a more secure location to train or lunge, you can use the fenced in paddock adjacent to the stable for that purpose.
In addition, all boarders have access to the trail system that runs through our 25 acres and through the neighborhood. Part of the trail system parallels Indian Run creek. The creek is a wonderful mix of pools and waterfalls, and there are multiple access points to get in for a dip. The trail also uses an old historic wagon road that used to wind its way from Catawba Valley into Blacksburg. Other trail sections run through woods, all to make a circular trip of several miles. The trails are mowed and kept open for riding throughout the year (unless the tractor has broken down!).
